What is KLIA 2? 
The KLIA2 is built to be Malaysia's Next Generation Hub - International Airport Hub - that allows seamless connectivity for both local and international low-cost plus full-service carries.The KLIA2 is built to cater for the explosive growth in low cost travel. It is designed to cater 45 million passengers a year, replacing the  Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) once it's ready. It is built with bigger capacity and superior facilities

When it is operating?
                             KLIA2 began operating 2 May 2014 and fully operational on 9 May 2014.

Estimated building cost
                                            Built at an estimated total cost of RM 4 Billion.

Capacity                                    Capacity to accommodate 45 million passengers per year.

Separate entrances / exits for domestic and international air travelers
60 departure gates
80 aerobridges -no more open air walking to and from aircraft.
90 F&B outlets
6000 car park lots

How to get there?

By road-estimated distance of 69km from KL Sentral
Taxi fare from KL Sentral: RM62 - RM75 (depends on traffic)
Bus services from: KL Sentral, TBS, 1Utama

Rail services from KL Sentral: RM35
